When a well respected agrochemical R&D company wants to create a series of videos to present its technological achievements, the challenge lies in the videos not ending up cold, incomprehensible and boring. Our design approach made exactly that difference. And Agrology accepted to exceed the limits of its strict technocratic style, provoking the industry standards.
Given the fact that biotechnology has difficult concepts, and for the purpose of helping Agrology gain the smile and trust of its public, we decided to follow a rather bold -for the industry standards- approach; we would draw like in a fairy tale. With simple sketches, friendly language and genuine handwriting, we created two motion graphics videos that seriously talk about innovative technologies, but their images are in a completely different style, loose and playful. Straightforwardly and typographically, without any trace of exaggeration, through the simplicity of ideas and back & white colouring.
So, first we created the S3 technology video and, after that, the E2DA technology video, both in the same philosophy, with custom music production and common intro and outro.
Exactly as we expected, the videos made a great impact. Even the client himself couldn’t have imagined 100% the quality of the final result. Such a serious subject, agrochemical technology, given in such looseness. Bold for Agrology, enjoyable for its public!
Truth be told, in the beginning, the concept’s handmade black/white style made us rather skeptical. Judging by our client’s reactions, though, it seems that Two Yellow Feet gave a unique character to this product line of ours.
